CamStudio

CamStudio is a software that enables you to do screencast recording.  In other words, you can record what happens on the screen of your computer.


By using CamStudio, you can quickly record a video tutorial and upload it to YouTube. 


The first video I started making money on YouTube was a video that took me about 5 minutes to make and 5 minutes to upload. 


I had a problem downloading the iTunes onto my laptop computer.  I searched everywhere on Google, but did not find anything useful.  Then a thought occured to me.  What if I just turned off the firewall on the computer.  I discovered that the firewall was preventing me from downloading iTunes.  In addition, the firewall in Norton Antivirus was also preventing me from downloading iTunes.  So I turned both off, made a quick video about it.  It was the first video that YouTube recognized and allowed for monetization.


With CamStudio, you can make a video on just about anything.  Make sure that you have a good microphone as well and that your voice is clearly heard.  You can make a video tutorial on any software.  You can make a video about current events.  You can also make a video using your PowerPoint presentation on a topic of your interest.  (If you're passionate about something, someone else is bound to share your interest).


A lot of Video Tutorials published on YouTube uses CamStudio, or a similar Screen Cast Recording Software.  When first experimenting with CamStudio, try to make a video tutorial that is similar to another one on YouTube. 


For instance, if you search for "How To Add Page Numbers in Microsoft Word", you probably get about 50 similar video tutorials.  Look at some of the videos, and then make a recording of your own.  You be surprised that yours may be better than 90% of the videos that have been made.
